Before starting your book
What works offline?
The saved emergency card and original documents you explicitly keep on your phone. The full history and AI answers need an internet connection.
Does Chowy replace a vet?
No. Chowy keeps facts and helps you share them with a vet. AI answers from your dog’s history, shows sources and does not diagnose.
Can I take my records with me?
Yes. Exporting all records as a file is free. An archive containing original photos and documents is not yet part of this export.
Can we keep the book together?
Yes. Family and invited caregivers share one dog’s history. Each entry shows who added it.
The next chapter: data from devices.
Our ambition is to bring your dog’s history together with activity, sleep and temperature data. A fuller picture of everyday life, shared with family and the vet.
We plan to start with compatible trackers and sensors, with a Chowy device as a longer-term ambition. This is our direction for the future; these capabilities are not yet available.
